This is just a quick overview of “thehomegymjunkie.com” website. It briefly outlines our goals and how we can best assist you to plan and design a home gym and create a healthier lifestyle. Please feel free to check out our website and ask us for any help or advice.
The Goal Of “thehomegymjunkie.com”
The goal of the home gym junkie is to provide honest advice and product reviews in relation to creating a healthy lifestyle and fitness routine at home. We do not say that this is the only way to achieve your fitness goal and that you should not consider training at a large commercial gym, just that training at home in our time poor world is a viable option.
We will look at some of the pros and cons of training at home compared to training in a large gym. There are definite benefits to training in a large gym and on days that you can’t make it to your gym training at home. I myself currently have a gym membership and also train at home; this gives me the best of both worlds.
We acknowledge that not everyone has a large home or budget to set up an elaborate home gym. At “thehomegymjunkie.com” our aim is to assist everyone no matter how large or small your home is or how large or small your budget is. We cover everything from very basic simple gyms consisting of few pieces of equipment that can be stored under a bed or in a cupboard to large elaborate home gyms that would rival any commercial gym.
We also discuss goal setting because all sports and fitness training programs are goal oriented. We look at the skills you want to develop and your fitness goals; i.e. gain size and strength, body toning and weight loss, general fitness, flexibility and skills pertaining to your specific sport. We look at long and short term goal setting and how you can utilise short term goals to help you achieve your ultimate long term goals.
Who Do We Want To Help
At “thehomegymjunkie.com”, no matter if you a beginner are just starting out on your fitness journey, an intermediate trainer who wants to improve your training or a very experienced trainer, we have something for everyone here. We offer advice on gym equipment, planning and designing your home gym to optimise your workouts and get the best possible results.
If you are a beginner I would suggest a consultation with a qualified personal trainer, he/she can assess you and your goals and prepare a training program to help you achieve your goals. Once you have a training program we can help you plan and design a home gym to suit your home and budget to help you achieve the best possible results from you training.
Why Do You Want A Home Gym
I’ll just touch on a few of the reasons that you would find a home gym beneficial, you’ll find much more detailed information by reading the posts in the side bar. Due to work, family and social commitments many people have a rich fulfilling lifestyle but are time poor. This means that by the time you have fulfilled all of you other commitments there is very little time for yourself, which equates to more limited time to train.
In the posts we discuss in detail both the benefits and limitations when considering setting up a home gym. This is just a brief overview of some of the things we look at:
⦁ The time factor; saving time on travelling to and from the gym, traffic, parking etc.
⦁ Home gyms v’s larger commercial gyms
1: The initial set up cost of your home gym against the ongoing costs of gym membership
2: The social aspect of a large gym as opposed to training by yourself at home. You can always train at home with a friend whenever possible
3: The large range of gym equipment in a large gym compared with the more limited range of gym equipment in a home gym
4: A definite benefit for stay at home and single parents and people rehabilitating from an injury
5: Waiting for and sharing gym equipment with other people compared with using your own equipment whenever you like
All these consideration and many other aspects of setting up, designing and getting the best out of your home gym are address within the “thehomegymjunkie.com”. Whether you want just your own home gym or you want to get the best of both worlds and train at your local gym plus your home gym there is something for everyone here. GOOD LUCK AND GOOD HEALTH
